I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted anything; journal, artwork or poems. After hitting a rough patch in my life and getting through that I've been extremely busy, and then I got pregnant... I gave birth to my precious and wonderfully beautiful girl Merel on the 1st of February this year! Since then I've been enjoying everything to do with her immensly. It has put my life upside down in a way I couldn't have dreamed beforehand, and I'm loving every second of it. It has also inspired me towards some new goals, and given me at least one new hobby. I've been spending a lot of time behind the sewing machine these last couple of weeks, with good results. The clothes I made and remade for myself still need to be photographed, and so do some other items, but the first load is here to be seen. My mother gave me a couple of old scruffy bibs whose rather neat patterns I could copy, and I've used it for a bunch of cool stuff already. The aprons for adults and children were also very fun to make. So here is some of it, and the rest will follow shortly. Well, didn't make it for the subsidy. I hoped I would be allowed to go on to present financial plans at least, but unfortunately I'm out of the race. :( On to the next thing, I guess. I'm making costumes for a performance at Oerol festival in June, and that's really fun to do. So, keeping busy as always... :) Love
