Desire

A deep running tremor
shakes my insides
A scream is arising
from where fear resides
The tears aren't flowing
they're stuck in my chest
The shivers they brought
they grant me no rest
A coldness is spreading
through flesh and through bone
A sadness is brought
by this longing that's grown

And I know this desire
is but nature's lore
And this high flaming fire
will only burn more
But tears they are pushing
their way through my soul
But fears they are ripping
destroying the whole
And this is the moment
that it's finally known
That I am enveloped
